I've spent my career at the intersection of design rigour and emerging technology - from delivering services to the GDS Service Standard at Kirklees Council, to facilitating blockchain experiments inside one of the UK's largest banks, to achieving RNIB Tried & Tested accreditation for EE's app.
What drives me is staying at the cutting edge - not for its own sake, but because the best design solutions tend to live there. I'm drawn to problems that are genuinely complex: financial products where a confusing journey costs someone money, accessibility challenges where a wrong decision excludes real people, design systems where one good component decision scales to thousands of users.
I'm highly disciplined and self-directed - shaped partly by marathon running, which has a way of teaching you that consistency beats inspiration.
